JCU Brisbane is Offering Bursaries to International Students
JCU Brisbane is offering bursaries to all eligible students who enroll in the Diploma of Business during 2010.
International students who meet both the academic and English entry requirements for the Diploma of Business will be entitled to a $A2,000 bursary*.
Students with diploma and degree packaged offers may be entitled to further bursaries.
Diploma + undergraduate = $A2,000 + $A2,000 = Total of $A4,000*
Diploma + undergraduate + postgraduate = $A2,000 + $A2,000 + $A2,000 = Total of $A6,000*
The Diploma of Business is an excellent opportunity for international students to get accustomed to the teaching styles and requirements of the Australian education system, while preparing themselves for university studies. Successful completion allows students to transition directly into the second year of JCU’s Bachelor of Business, where students can opt to do any of five majors listed below
*Accounting
*Hospitality Management
*International Business
*Management & Entrepreneurship
*Marketing
Please note that the Human Resource Management major is no longer available at JCU Brisbane.
$A1,000 High Distinction Bursary
This bursary is awarded to all international students who achieve a High Distinction in a subject (typical grade of over 85%^). To date, JCU Brisbane has awarded over $A580,000 worth of High Distinction awards since this system was first implemented in 2006.
